{🇫🇷 ci-dessus} Here we go, I’m stepping back, or rather, slipping a pair of socks back, into Instagram after several weeks away. The whirlwind of back-to-school season and my move really shook up my routine, but knitting still had its place. I’m sharing with you this pair of Strawberry Socks from the brand-new Fruity Socks collection by @kremke_yarns. I used their Edelweiss yarn, bought from @mailleshop.vichy before leaving the Vichy area ♥️ A little gift for my daughter to start the school year off right, she’s absolutely crazy about strawberries… I really encourage you to check out this collection; it’s a feast for the eyes 😁 And since I worked on the French translation of the booklet and knitted this pair myself, I can assure you it’s a very fun project. The patterns come in both kids’ and adult sizes! What do you think? // Allez, je remets un pied ou plutôt une paire de chaussettes dans Instagram après plusieurs semaines d'absence. Summer vibes ☀️ Knitting some stitches of the Lil Cardi from @julieknitsinparis with @pascuali_official Pinta. One of the softest yarns I’ve ever knitted. The drape is just stunning.

A quick word about the yarn I used to knit my Sea Me top. It's Gossypium Cotton Tweed by @erikaknightyarns, a DK weight yarn made of 96% cotton and 4% polyester. I find that knitting with tweed yarns is such a visual pleasure, with those little specks of color dancing along the needles! I really enjoyed working with this yarn, for a cotton, it’s surprisingly pleasant to knit, and its drape is just as lovely as its stitch definition. And on the skin, it’s just as nice, a very comfortable yarn to wear. The colors (24 of them!) are amazing. The hardest part is choosing which one to knit your little top in! If you’re not totally convinced by cotton, I’m preparing a post with some great alternatives that would also work beautifully for this top. Do you already have some ideas in mind? // Un petit mot sur le fil que j'ai utilisé pour tricoter mon top Sea Me. Il s'agit du Gossypium Cotton Tweed de chez @erikaknightyarns, un fil 96% coton et 4% polyester de grosseur DK. Je trouve que tricoter les fils tweedés est tellement agréable à l'œil avec ces petites tâches de couleurs qui défilent sur les aiguilles ! J'ai beaucoup apprécié ce fil car pour un coton, je le trouve très agréable à tricoter et son tombé est aussi joli que sa définition. Sur la peau, c'est pareil, on est sur un fil très agréable à porter. Les couleurs (24 !) sont folles. Le plus dur est de savoir dans laquelle on va bien pouvoir se tricoter son petit top ! Pour les moins convaincues par le coton, je vous prépare un post avec des alternatives sympas qui iront bien pour tricoter ce top ! Avez-vous déjà des idées ?
