#3 des samples pour @showroomfibresconnexion Celui-là n'était pas vraiment prévu. Il me restait de la Cumbria de chez @pascuali_official et je ne pouvais pas la laisser dormir dans mon placard. J'ai choisi le Gatsby Top de @pinaknit pour lui donner vie (tricoté en taille 3). Le motif est aussi joli que sympa à tricoter, il y a plusieurs options de manches. J'ai choisi la version bretelles i-cord mais cousues. Comme l’i-cord a tendance à se détendre, j’ai passé un fil à l’intérieur histoire de retenir la bretelle. La Cumbria de Pascuali c'est 60% coton Pima et 40% viscose de bambou. Le coton Pima est une fibre longue, plus douce et plus résistante que le coton classique. Le bambou apporte le côté soyeux. Résultat : un top ultra confortable, parfait pour les chaleurs de cette semaine. Petite modification : je ne voulais pas de cordon i-cord dans le dos, j'ai préféré coudre et ajouter de petits boutons coquillage trouvés chez @surunfil.orsay 🐚 Patron Le Gatsby Top de Pina Fil Cumbria de Pascuali · Coloris Quartz Rose 345 // This one wasn’t really planned. I had some Cumbria left from @pascuali_official and I couldn’t let it sit forgotten in my closet. I chose the Gatsby Top by @pinaknit to bring it to life (knitted in size 3). The stitch pattern is just as beautiful as it is enjoyable to knit, and there are several sleeve options. I chose the sewn i-cord strap version. Since i-cord tends to stretch over time, I threaded a strand inside to help the straps keep their shape. Pascuali’s Cumbria is made of 60% Pima cotton and 40% bamboo viscose. Pima cotton is a long-staple fiber, softer and more durable than regular cotton. The bamboo adds a silky touch. The result: an ultra-comfortable top, perfect for this week’s warm weather. Sample series for the @showroomfibresconnexion, #2 I spotted this one at the showroom last year and knew I'd knit it one day. The Plumetis by @julieknitsinparis published in @pompommag in 2022… a beauty! I made a very Wednesday Addams version. Black with a white collar. Body and sleeves in @pascuali_official Mohair Bliss, borders and collar in Pascuali Cashmere Lace. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of mohair against my skin. But Mohair Bliss is one of the few I can wear comfortably. And for this pattern, I was ready to do whatever it takes. And to complete this beauty, I found the perfect button at @surunfil.orsay — Le numéro 2 de mes samples pour le Showroom Fibres Connexion 🧶 Celui-là, je l'avais repéré l'année dernière au showroom et je savais que je le tricoterais un jour. As part of the @showroomfibresconnexion, I'm representing @pascuali_official and @rosygreenwool yarns and knitting samples to inspire yarn shops and showcase both brands' fibres. 5 patterns, 5 different designers! I chose the Light Loop Sweater by @otherloops with @pascuali_yarns Cashmere 6/28 in colourway 26, poppy red. A loose sweater, perfect for transitional weather, knitted on 7mm needles despite being a Sport weight yarn, airy, relaxed, exactly the right feel. 4 skeins, size S, finished in under 3 days. Not a single centimetre left over. I lengthened the body until the very last skein ran out, no waste! Why this pattern? It doesn't use much yarn, it's modern, and accessible even for an intermediate knitter. I thought it was a great combo. A few words about Pascuali cashmere: organically certified, it comes from Outer Mongolia where goats roam freely in their natural habitat. Raised in good conditions, their fibre is longer and less prone to pilling. More in the series coming soon 👀 // Dans le cadre du @showroomfibresconnexion, je représente les fils @pascuali_official et @rosygreenwool et je tricote des samples pour donner de l'inspiration aux boutiques et présenter les fils de ces 2 marques. 5 patrons, 5 designers différentes. J'ai choisi le Light Loop Sweater de @otherloops avec la Cashmere 6/28 de @pascuali_yarns dans le coloris 26 rouge coquelicot. Un pull ajouré, parfait pour la mi-saison, tricoté en aiguilles 7 malgré un fil Sport : vaporeux, déjaugé, le rendu est exactement ce qu'il faut. 4 pelotes, taille S, terminé en moins de 3 jours. Pas une chute de fil. J’ai allongé le corps jusqu’à la fin de la dernière pelote, pas de gâchis ! Pourquoi ce modèle ? Pas trop gourmand en fil, moderne, accessible en niveau même pour une tricoteuse intermédiaire. J’ai trouvé que c’était un bon combo. Un petit mot sur le cachemire Pascuali : certifié biologique, il provient de Mongolie extérieure où les chèvres vivent librement dans leur habitat naturel.
