A timeless piece that’s easy to pair with any outfit, with carefully crafted details that make it a truly unique hand-knit. Knitted in Soyeuse from @fonty_officiel, a soft and warm merino/silk blend, it has a wonderfully even texture and is very comfortable to wear. For the buttons, these are of course the herbarium buttons from @ateliercamelir. Season Stitch 2025 with @erikaknightyarns Here are my four finished and published designs. I thought I’d share a little recap of this “collection,” even though I didn’t originally conceive it as one. I really love Erika Knight yarns and the spirit of the brand, and I’m delighted to have helped bring these three qualities to life: – Bloomrise socks in Moorland Mohair for spring – Sea Me top in Gossypium Cotton Tweed for summer – Rosemoor jacket in Pure Tweed for autumn – Meadow sweater in Pure Tweed as well, for winter I can’t wait to reveal this year’s patterns. After a strong appreciation for tweed in 2025, there will be stripes, colorwork, and playful explorations of color and texture. I’m taking advantage of the release of my new pattern, the Meadow sweater, to focus on cables. I remember when I first started knitting, I was fascinated by cables. I could only think about that. It seemed incredible to be able to create such volume with needles and yarn. I didn’t have a cable needle, too impatient, so I used a small hair clip instead. It wasn’t very practical, but for a test it was enough! In the end, cables aren’t that difficult, and the result is always magical. A guaranteed hand-knit look! Je me souviens, quand j'ai commencé le tricot j'étais comme fascinée par les torsades. Je n'avais que ça en tête. Cela me semblait incroyable de pouvoir dessiner des volumes comme cela avec des aiguilles et du fil. Je n'avais pas d'aiguilles à torsades, trop pressée j'avais fait ça avec une petite barrette à cheveux. Ce n'était pas le plus pratique mais pour un test c'était suffisant ! Finalement, les torsades, ce n'est pas si difficile, et le rendu est toujours magique. Effet tricot-main garanti !
