The top Sea Me top is a light, elegant design, perfect for the summer months, but not just that: worn under a cardigan, it will reveal its cool neckline detail.

It’s worked in Gossypium Cotton Tweed by Erika Knight: a DK yarn, composed of 96% cotton and 4% polyester, with a yardage of approximately 125 m per 50 g.
This yarn is pleasant to work with, offering excellent stitch definition that beautifully highlights the fabric. Its subtle colorful flecks add a discreet touch of character—perfect for giving a project a lively twist while keeping the look elegant and refined.

But if you don’t have this yarn on hand or would like to give your project a different personality, here are some interesting alternative yarns.

Note: I’ve provided Ravelry links for each yarn, so you can have a detailed technical data sheet for each yarn and links to the stores that have registered this quality in their store, or the link to the brands directly.

Each yarn will give a different result to your top Sea Me :

  • an interesting drape with hemp or linen,

  • or a nice balance with the wool/cotton blend.

It’s up to you to choose based on your preference for material, drape, or how it feels on the skin.
