🇬🇧 These mitts are worked from the cuff to the fingers, increasing on one side for the thumb. Mittens stitches are thought to match the small size of the design. After the cuff, the hand part is worked. Thumb stitches are put on hold to be knitted after the top of the mitt.
Recommended yarn – worsted:
Approximately 100 m / 110 yards or less than one skein of Gilliat, De Rerum Natura.
Needles:
4.5 mm / US 7, circular needles,
5 mm / US 8, circular needles.
Finished measurements:
Height: 18 cm / 7’’, width: 8.5 cm / 3’’1/4.
