Petal A few days ago, I came across this design again—not in my own files, but in @joce.5521’s profile picture in the test group. It brought me so much joy to think back to the *Sweet* collection and everything it meant to me. At the time, I didn’t communicate much about each piece, yet every one of these designs carried within it everything I had learned, everything I loved to create. 🌿 Petal embodies the balance I cherish in knitting: simple elegance, clean lines, and subtle details that transform a basic piece into an essential one. Its delicate V-neck, dropped shoulders, and carefully crafted neckline, edges, and cuffs… Every element is designed for natural harmony. Work in 4 mm needles with a fingering-weight yarn—here, the Baby Alpaca from @bcgarn—it’s a project that never gets tiring, a garment that feels like a gentle caress on the skin. Thank you to all those who bring my designs to life through their stitches. 💛 // Il y a quelques jours, j'ai revu ce modèle en photo, pas dans mes dossiers mais chez @joce.5521 sur sa photo de profil du groupe de test. Cela m'a fait énormément plaisir de repenser à la collection Sweet et tout ce qu’elle représentait pour moi. À l’époque, j’avais peu communiqué sur chaque pièce, et pourtant, chacun de ces modèles portait en lui tout ce que j’avais appris, tout ce que j’aimais créer. 🌿 Petal représente l'équilibre que j'aime beaucoup dans le tricot : une élégance simple, des lignes épurées, des détails subtils qui transforment un basique en un essentiel. Son col V délicat, ses épaules tombantes et les finitions soignées de son encolure, de ses bords et poignets… Tout est pensé pour une harmonie naturelle. Tricoté en 4 mm avec un fil fingering, ici le Baby Alpaca de @bcgarn, il se tricote sans se lasser et s'apprécie comme une caresse sur la peau. It was still a bit big when she wore it at 8 months, but from the age of 2 and even now, Célia proudly sports this "hat knitted by my mom," switching between the pink or blue version depending on the artist's mood. 🤗 // Un petit coup de nostalgie et je remonte le fil de mes photos.
